Description
After syncing, the meeting information in the "Location" entry is transferred to the Google calendar but the information in the "Rooms" entry is not. Since my company uses LN to reserve conference rooms, the meeting location is usually specified in the "Rooms" entry with little or no information put in the "Location" entry.
For meetings, would it be possible to transfer the information from both the "Location" and "Rooms" entries to the Google calendar?

Hi, Matthew!
Thanks for your suggestion.
Issue is GCal doesn't have a "Room" field at all.
Maybe a good idea to have an option:
send all of that in a Google "Location", e.g. "Location (Room)"
but we would have to send nothing back to LN "Location".
So, "Location" filed whould be one-way synced Lotus->Google
We'll think of that.
Anyway not sure if we are able to sync "Room" itself

woups! After I noticed that some of my Problem Reports disapeared I searched for them and found out that other people had raised exactly the same problems or suggestions.
As written in my report (which has disapeared), I would suggest that Awesync:
- synchronizes the LN 'Location' field TO the GCal field 'Where' IF this 'Location' is not Null.
- if the LN 'Location' field is Null but the 'Room' isn't then it should synchronize the Room
To solve the problem where one then modifies the GCal entry and synchronizing back to LN:
- it should check LN and update the field which is not empty

Daniel,
Just wanted to let you know:
Some issues are marked as "duplicated" if they address to the same or similar issue.
They are not displayed in Support list with "Open issues" filter specified (by default).
But if you specify "Any" instead you can see them.

I feel that this is an important feature request and would like to add that Dwarf007's proposal is exactly how this should be handled:
- synchronizes the LN 'Location' field TO the GCal field 'Where' IF this 'Location' is not Null.
- if the LN 'Location' field is Null but the 'Room' isn't then it should synchronize the Room
To solve the problem where one then modifies the GCal entry and synchronizing back to LN:
- it should check LN and update the field which is not empty
Most of my Notes entries have Rooms and not a Location, so in my Google Calendar the Where is almost always blank. Very annoying... BTW, I love AweSync!

I change this one to critical since it prevents me from knowing the room of the meeting (without having to go back to LN and looking at it), either:
- receiving sms reminders from google calendar (having the room number missing)
- looking at google calendar with my phone or on the pc (having the room number missing)

I would like both synced in some way. My company uses the Room field for Rooms but often times uses location for conference call numbers. I like the (Room) idea presented earlier. Hopefully this comes soon. Thanks for all the work.

I just want to jump on the bandwagon for this one. We also normally use the Rooms field, not the Location field. So, at this point I don't know what room my meetings are in by looking at my google calendar.

This feature will be implemented in one of future releases.
Thanks,
Nikolay.

It seems to be implemented in version 2.0 ;-)
