I had my meetings synchronized and updated to Awesync 1.0.0-7.
After a few days I noticed that all my full-day event meetings were duplicated in Lotus Notes and in the second entry each of this entries even had one additional day at the end. On Google Calendar the entries remained correct.
For instance a full day event on November 14th was then entered twice in Lotus Notes: one time on November 14th and one time on November 14th AND November 15th. Also, a five day event was twice in LN: one time from October 5th to October 09th and one time from October 5th to october 10th.
The way I setup Awesync is:
- Two-Way
- Notes overwrites Google
Sorry I don't know when that exactly happened and therefore don't know which logs to append. If needed I can try to reproduce it. Just let me know

Just a feeling: I have the impression that this might also be linked to the 'Room' and 'Location' issue.
The duplication also occured for meetings that were not full-day events.
I think before a meeting was created on Lotus Notes (with a Room and no Location specified) and synchronized to Google Calendar. On Google Calendar I updated the Where field and it was synched back to LN.
Now with the new version Awesync 1.0.0-7, it duplicated a new entry on Lotus Notes with Location only.
But the additional day at the end, I don't see any reason for that. And the additional day is the one that only occures for full-day events.

I have now deleted all the duplicate (and wrong full day events with the additional day) from Lotus Notes and that removed them also from Google Calendar after the next Sync.
The meetings which were initially there are still on Lotus Notes but not on Google Calendar. Awesync also does not re-add them to Google Calendar.
Kind of a mess and fully unsynchronized

Daniel,
Just hope the duplicates were created in the previous version of Awesync. (if it still remains please let us know)
Try to use "SyncAll" to re-add existing events to Google.
As far as additional day at the end is concerned.
Seems to be a duplicate of http://www.awesync.com/node/189#comment-446
Please see responses and put your comments that there.

No, unfortunatelly this happened with 1.0.0-7
I even did 'Sync ALL' and unfortunatelly had the settings past = 0 and future = 0.
It resynced my full calendar and duplicated almost all my meetings in both directions.
I spend quite some time to clean up my calendars and now changed the settings to past = 1 day
When this happened and I was seeing the number of deletions and additions increasing.. I was really stressed... It would really be essential to have this suggested feature.
I was actually already thinking about not using AweSync anymore because I wasn't sure I could trust it.

Daniel,
Were not able to reproduced the issue usual way.
The only thing we assuming is the duplicates would appear the way you told if the same data were synced from more than one Awesync instances at least once, e.g. from different computers.
It's not working correctly in this release, but going to be enhanced in the next one (coming soon).
Is that something like you did?

I haven't experienced this anymore with 1.0.0.8c but I must say that I only use the Sync Now button and never Sync all.
I also set to 1 day in the past only
