Release notes

The 1.0.1.3 version has fully reworked engine of work with Lotus Notes COM. Currently Awesync doesn't support Lotus Notes 5.x and 6.0.x.. Please make sure you are using Lotus Notes version 6.5 or above.

Current version still doesn't support the synchronization of the repeated events with exeptions (e.g. a repeated event that has one of its instances modified or deleted). This is the next step and next release of Awesync will support repeated events completely.

We switched to regular Microsoft MSI installer, so while upgrading Awesync from a previous version installation program will ask you to uninstall Awesync first. Your settings and synchronization index will be preserved. You won't be asked to uninstall something in the future while upgrading to new versions.

What's new

Bugs fixed:
- "Attempted to read or write protected memory";
- "Retrieving the COM class factory for component ... failed";
- "Unable to cast COM object";
- Duplicate events in LN 6.x fixed;
- can't find notes.ini path.

Features:
+ Support for x64 systems
+ Support for time zone "America/Caracas", GMT -4:30
+ If you changed synchronization timeframe, then "Sync ALL" is preformed automatically to sync old events which were not included in previous sync timeframe
+ Additional options and menu commands are implemented to make support and bugs reporting easier;
+ Ability to access Full Log in Awesync user interface.

Please note, that Lotus Notes has limited support for Vista and Windows 7. Single-user installation of Lotus Notes requires specific configuration. See Compatibility Notes (http://awesync.com/node/246) for details.

encryption

thanks for the update! another feature I am really looking for (and I am sure I'm not the only one) is SSL encryption, as Notes are mostly used for corporate data.

Data exchange with Google is SSL encrypted for sure. Currently, only list of your Google calendars is retrieved without SSL encryption. We can encrypt the operation also.
Encryption of network traffic with your Domino server can be configured in your Lotus Notes client - User Preferences->Ports->TCPIP->Encrypt network data.

Good stuff, but support for multiple Notes Calenders?

Good to see development continuing on this, but I wonder if there will ever be native support for multiple *Notes* Calenders, syncing to GCal?

Nice work, got my sync to work after some tveaking ;-)
Was able to sync Work Notes=>Google using awesync and Google=>Outlook with oggsync.
Entries seems OK (still checking)

Initially I tried to setup an additional calendar on Google for my work Notes calendar, this did not work, got:
AweSyncLib.GoogleAddRemoveManager - Event is not added to Google as Google Cal is not editable
and no entries got into google.
My workaround: create an additional google account which primary calender I use for Notes and share that calender with my original google account. oggsync then synchs from this account.
Bug in main window: I was not able to see the last log messages by scrolling to the bottom, probably because my windows desktop is setup with large font size.

Simon,
1. Debug information is correct.
2. It's strange that you did not sync with your current account. Did you use your own calendar? Currently it syncs only with calendar where you are owner or editor. Next AweSync version will have more information to debug this issue.
3. Woul you please send screenshot with scrolling issue?
