Andreas,
Code cannot find your ID files. Most probably this file is currently is on some network drive. To fix this issue (in this case) please close AweSync, copy ID file to local drive (for example to C:), start Lotus Notes client and select this copied ID file from local drive. Then please start AweSync again.

Hi the id files is filed unter c:\ProgramData\Notes\Data\hubeadde.id
So it is local, i also tried the manual id selection but with the same result

 Andreas,
There may be two possible reasons of this error:
1. Your ID file can't be accessed by AweSync due to security restrictions in Vista
2. Your ID file name contains national Deutsche charachters. 
Try to change AweSync settings to use "Current" ID file like shown on screenshot.

I'm getting the same error. But I'm using windows 7 64 bit, Lotus Notes 7.0.3 and the latest beta release. I've already tried selecting the different ID-file options. But no success. Maybe a problem of the German language?

I tried using the newest Version today, but i'm getting the same result

Requirements below come from Lotus Notes - Windows Vista compatibility (the same requirements concern Windows 7) 
1. LN should be installed in Multi-user configuration
2. UAC should be disabled OR User ID settings option should be "Use Current ID file"
 The same information was added to FAQ: Can't open ID file

  Could you post your settings.cfg? It's placed in %APPDATA%\AweSync\ folder. Please edit it with unicode text editor (notepad on WinXP would be good) and remove only your passwords (LotusPasswdEncrypted, GooglePasswdEncrypted).
If you don't like to upload it here, you can send it to support email (see About dialog of AweSync).

Alos please send your notes.ini - it doesn't contain sensitive information except of your name
