Hi,
I was playing around with having a "birthday calendar" for people in gmail. I added a couple of birthdays as a test, making sure to "show me as available" even though it's an all-day event. I did a Sync (two-way) and noticed that Lotus Notes thought I had no free time at all then on that day.
I edited the birthday minder and Notes had something selected saying that I should be available, but when I tried to set up a new meeting it wasn't showing me as having any free time (even though there was plenty). In a panic, I manually deleted the birthday entry from my Lotus Notes calendar, and still no luck. Something is in there now that thinks I have no free time that day.
I am using Lotus Notes 8.0.2 FP1 SHF149 Standard Configuration. I don't think I can post any information from either of my calendars, unfortunately, because of the confidential nature of what's on my work Lotus Notes account. But I thought I should still bring it up.
Thx,
-uvaeeman

We really have problems with free/busy mark in release 1.0.1.5. Now it is fixed in upcoming release.
Concerning this note:
" I manually deleted the birthday entry from my
Lotus Notes calendar, and still no luck. Something is in there now
that thinks I have no free time that day. "
Looks like you have mail database on the server. Lotus Domino server have special scheduled task which process' all personal calendar records and mark free/busy time. It looks like you tested your free time immediately after deletion of calendar entries. I'm sure that if you check it now, time is marked as free. If not, it only means that you have another event at the same day.
Thanks,
Nikolay
