Hi there,
I downloaded and installed awesync. There were no error messages. I put in all settings and tested a syncronization with google. My calendar entries appeared in Google no problem. Here is my issue: after restarting my computer overnight, awesync no longer opens. No window or taskbar icon appears. When I open taskmanager, I see that several entries are made for awesync (each time I open awesync a new entry is created). I have tested and found that it is not syncronizing calendar entries in the background. I rebooted, uninstalled, removed all folders, reinstalled. After reinstallation, I was able to enter my settings again, and the syncronization worked for one more day until reboot over night. Now I have the same issue where no window or taskbar icon appear.
Please advise me what to do
Tim

This looks like .NET error. Please update you Microsoft .NET Framework from Windows Update. If update of .NET 2.0 don't work, try to install .NET 3.5.
Also, please ensure if AweSync hangs or just don't show tray icon. Please edit your config file (it's placed in %APPDATA%\AweSync\settings.cfg) , find parameter MinimizeOnStart and set it's value to false: <MinimizeOnStart>false</MinimizeOnStart>. If AweSync window will be shown and synchronization will work, then reason is just hidden tray icon. Particular reason of this issue maybe using of any third-party Windows desktop managers or tray icon modifiers.
If update of .NET will not help, please post version of your Windows, and any customized Windows Themes and theme managers - we'll try to reproduce the issue at our side.
