It’s been quite a while now, since we announced AweSync beta-testing program. Initially, we planned to finalize development and roll out production version in the end of 2009. However, since then we realized that there are a lot of features to be added, as well as we’ve done a lot of work to stabilize the application and ensure it’s working good with various Lotus Notes versions. And all this thanks to your active participation in our beta-testing program, your valuable and helpful feedback.
 
So, would like to thank you again for your beta-testing efforts!
 
Now, to the latest news.
 
Release 2.0.0.0 is basically ready, and now is passing the internal testing. It will have full support of recurring events with exceptions, as well as few other interesting features. Right now I’m updating quick start guide based on this release, so it’s continuously changing now due to final refinements of the software options.
 
This will also become our first production release of AweSync. We’re preparing the website now to support product sales, and still the product will be available for download with a 30 days full trial, so you could try it before you make decision to buy.
 
We’re still defining the pricing, but we’ll try to keep it low to make sure it’s affordable, and definitely we’ll keep our promise and send discount coupons, so that first 50 beta-testers with valuable feedback get the product for free, and all other users participating in beta-testing get 50% off.
