Just thought I should record this feature request through the website instead of through email: 
I suggest two different features:
 
 
1. User can choose what type of events to sync. User is given checkboxes to tick. I can tick only Meetings and that means AweSync will sync document-type = Meetings. Appointments, To-Do, All-Day Events, Reminders and Anniversary will be skipped and not sync. 
 
2. User can also choose to sync the Details field or not. From my limited knowledge, it's probably not including the Detail field when syncing to Google calendar. But you are right. This could be difficult if (1) is implemented.  
 
Your idea of skipping calendar entries that are marked private is good. However, in reality, many of corporate users' calendar entries are invitation from co-workers. It is not something I created. And to go into each entry to mark Private is time consuming.
